After creating your Parent Profile, download the Young Minds Kids App on your child’s device:
- Android: Download the Young Minds Kids App from Google Play.
- iOS: Download the Young Minds Kids App from the App Store.
Log in using your parent account credentials, then follow the on-screen instructions to configure the app.
During setup, you will be asked to:
- Select an existing child or add a new child profile
- Assign a name to the device
- Grant the permissions required for monitoring and protection

- Accessibility Reporting – Enables monitoring of app usage and web activity and provides detailed reports.
- Device Admin – Prevents the app from being uninstalled without parental approval.
- App Display – Allows notifications when time limits are reached or apps are blocked.
- Usage Data Access – Tracks device usage for activity reports.
- Notification Access – Helps keep the app running in the background for continuous protection.
- Battery Optimization Exemption – Ensures uninterrupted monitoring and reliable operation.
- Device Location – Enables location tracking and location history.
