1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the YoungMindsApp Services (“Services”), provided by YoungMindsApp Ltd (“YoungMindsApp”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, installing, accessing, or using any part of the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
2. Eligibility and Account Responsibility
2.1 You must be 18 years or older to use the Services. By registering, you confirm that you are a parent or legal guardian.
2.2 You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is accurate, safeguarding your account credentials, and maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
2.3 You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access, security breach, or suspected misuse of your account.
2.4 You must ensure that your use of the Services is lawful and does not infringe any third-party rights.
3. Description of Services
3.1 YoungMindsApp provides a parental screen time and digital usage monitoring service for children’s devices, accessed via a parent dashboard.
3.2 The Services are intended solely for domestic household use and are not designed, licensed, or authorised for school, institutional, or commercial use.
3.3 YoungMindsApp reserves the right to modify, update, or remove features of the Services at any time.
4. Acceptable Use
4.1 You agree to use the Services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those relating to data protection, privacy, child safety, and intellectual property.
4.2 You warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents from monitored users, including informing children as required by law and securing parental authority.

5.1 YoungMindsApp retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all associated intellectual property.
5.2 You are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Services solely for lawful parental monitoring purposes.
5.3 You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, or exploit any content or software from the Services without our express written permission.
6. Data Processing and Privacy
6.1 Your use of the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data is collected, stored, and processed.
6.2 You act as the data controller for all monitored personal data and confirm that you have a lawful basis to collect and process such data.
6.3 YoungMindsApp acts as a data processor and processes monitored data only in accordance with your instructions.
6.4 By registering or using our services, you consent to receive messages from Young Minds App via WhatsApp at the phone number you provided. These messages may include service updates, reminders, support responses, or other information relevant to your account and our services. You may opt out of WhatsApp communication at any time by replying with “STOP” or by contacting us at info@youngmindsapp.co.uk. We will never share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes, and we will only use WhatsApp to contact you in accordance with our Privacy Policy and WhatsApp’s terms of use.
7. Service Availability and Modifications
7.1 YoungMindsApp aims to provide continuous access to the Services, but we do not guarantee uptime or uninterrupted availability.
7.2 We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time with or without notice.
7.3 We may suspend your access in cases of suspected misuse, unauthorised access, or legal non-compliance.
8. Duration of Services
8.1 Your YoungMindsApp Account will remain in effect unless cancelled by you or us.
8.2 Free Account: Use of the Services is unlimited in duration unless cancelled.
8.3 Pro Account: Use of the Services is subject to the payment of subscription fees for the selected term. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same term unless cancelled in writing at least 30 days prior to renewal.
9. Cancellation
9.1 You may cancel your YoungMindsApp Account at any time by sending a request to info@youngmindsapp.co.uk.
9.2 We may cancel your subscription immediately in the event of a breach of these Terms.
9.3 We may terminate your account if it remains inactive for more than one month, with 15 days’ written notice.
9.4 We may terminate Free Accounts for any reason with 30 days’ written notice.

11. YoungMindsApp Software Licence
11.1 You are granted a revocable, non‑transferable licence to install and use one copy of the YoungMindsApp software on the number of monitored devices for which a licence has been purchased. 11.2 Free Account: Limited features may be used on devices under your control for domestic use only.
11.3 Pro Account: Additional devices and enhanced functionality may be used according to your contracted plan.
11.4 You are prohibited from reproducing, modifying, distributing, reverse engineering, or decompiling any part of the software.

12.1 Fees are published at www.youngmindsapp.co.uk.
12.2 You agree to pay all applicable fees for your chosen Pro plan. Payments are non‑cancellable and non‑refundable.
12.3 Additional devices or users added during the subscription period may result in increased fees.
13. Price Updates
13.1 Subscription prices may change with at least 30 days’ written notice.
13.2 If you do not object prior to the renewal date, you will be deemed to have accepted the revised pricing.
13.3 Continued use beyond the renewal date constitutes acceptance of new prices.
14. Billing
14.1 Invoices are issued at the time of payment.
14.2 Billing for additional users or devices is for the full term, regardless of start date.
14.3 Unless otherwise stated, invoices will be issued in GBP, EUR or USD.
14.4 You must provide accurate billing and contact information.
15. Taxes
15.1 Prices exclude VAT or other applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated.
15.2 You are responsible for all applicable taxes unless you provide a valid exemption certificate.
15.3 If we are legally required to pay taxes on your behalf, these will be invoiced to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YoungMindsApp and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims arising from:
17. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
17.1 The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
17.2 We do not guarantee error‑free, secure, or uninterrupted operation.
17.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
17.4 Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you during the preceding 12 months (or zero during free usage).

18.1 You may cease using the Services at any time.
18.2 We may suspend or terminate your access for breach or harmful behaviour.
18.3 Upon termination, all rights granted to you cease and data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
20. Entire Agreement and Waiver
20.1 These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and YoungMindsApp.
20.2 Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of such provision.
